International Thespian Honor Society 
Thespians is one of the largest honor societies in the country. Students who become an inducted member of Thespians have the opportunity to attend festivals, earn cords to wear at graduation, and participate in the business operations of our class.

We meet every Wednesday at lunch in our classroom. All tech students are welcome to join. 

Tech Certification

Technical Theatre is part of the School of Visual and Performing Arts at Santa Susana High School. Students have the opportunity to certify in the Academy of  Stage Production pathway. Many students choose to pursue a certification to improve their college and job applications. 

Technical Theatre- Honors

We offer a capstone Technical Theatre honors course. This course is designed for students who have a well rounded understanding of all technical theatre elements, act as a lead designer or manager, and conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times. Honors students are expected to be reliable, professional, and to help newer students understand the ins and outs of our course. Honors students will receive an extra GPA point.
